• The “Do Unto Others” fund
, allows Open Door to help folks who need emergencies monies for necessities. If you are so moved, you might donate additional monies to it. Just mark your gift DUO or “Do Unto Others” in the memo line. Bless you!

Open Door is making “Clean Kits” for distribution by Montgomery County Homeless Services. Ongoing donations of personal toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, nail clippers, washcloths, or deodorant) are needed and welcome. Please speak to Corrine B. with interest or questions.
“My Time and Talent” receipts! Please use the slips found in the foyer to record time you give to the church. Your time is priceless!
Frederick's LGBTQ Community Center is scheduling community and small-group get-togethers, events, and activities. (more) Youth Group meetings every Wednesday 6-8p @ 4 East Church St. (more)
• The Green Team asks for your help improving our ecological practice by placing recyclables (cans, bottles, other plastic/metal containers) in the large blue bin in the kitchen; place paper recycling in one of the small blue wastebaskets marked with the recycling logo; help Open Door reduce, reuse, and recycle!

IMCW weekly meditation and teaching to center, balance, and develop lovingkindness by Tara Brach. Facilitates mind-body-spirit health. A few of us gather for the meditation and teaching once a month, usually on a Wednesday. Please join us if you have an interest in this practice. (River Road UU, 6301 River Road) (Questions to Rev. ICCG "Sharing Cultures, Building Communities" ICC is dedicated to providing service-based interfaith programs that bridge gaps in understanding among diverse communities. (more)
